Sponsorships & Raffle Donations

Dear Potential Sponsor/Donor,

In July, The Markie Foundation is hosting its 9th annual charity golf tournament to benefit children's hospice programs in Northern California. Our tournaments have been a great success, raising thousands of dollars for children's hospice. We are currently seeking sponsors and donors to help make this year's event even more successful.

Sponsorships
See the list of sponsorship opportunities for you to choose from, ranging from our top-level corporate sponsorships to the popular $150 Hole Sponsor. Our sponsorships offer valuable recognition for your company through our signage and other publicity material. Your company will also be acknowledged on our website, in our tournament day program, and at the awards dinner afterwards.

If you are interested in becoming a sponsor for our 9th annual golf tournament, please complete and mail the sponsorship form with your check payable to The Markie Foundation for the appropriate sponsorship amount. The total of all funds received from sponsors will be donated directly to The Markie Foundation.

Raffle Prizes / Tee Prize Items
We are also looking for businesses to donate merchandise or services for our raffle. Donated items will be raffled off at the awards dinner following the golf tournament, with all raffle ticket proceeds going directly to The Markie Foundation.

In addition, we welcome any items for our golfer tee package, including balls, tees, markers, divot tools, snack foods, toiletries, etc. If you would like to make such a donation, please contact me at (916) 435-8760.

Auction Items
Finally, we are seeking valuable auction items--such as sports memorabilia, fine wine, weekend getaways, and other unique items-for our live auction.

The Markie Foundation 9th Annual Charity Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, July 11, 2008 at the Sunol Valley Golf Club in Sunol. It will be a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. with cocktails and dinner to follow. Of course, you are welcome to sign up and play in the tournament as well.
